Class Schedules and Details
Pamlico Community College Division of Continuing Education offers the following Emergency Services training opportunities:
Emergency Medical Services: Programs include certification for Medical Responder, EMT-Basic, and EMT-Intermediate.
Continuing Education courses are also available for personnel currently certified in Emergency Medical Services.
Current Course Offerings:
EMT-Basic: Accelerated Hybrid
August 29 – December 3, 2011
This accelerated online class is designed for health care workers who have pre-existing medical knowledge. Coursework will be online and students will meet on campus two Saturdays during the course.

Fire & Rescue: Programs include certification and training for Firefighter 1&2, Emergency Vehicle Driving, Driver/Operator, Aerial Operations, Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials Response. Many specialty areas of training for fire and rescue personnel are also available including National Fire Academy courses.
