Class Schedules and Details
Pamlico Community College Division of Continuing Education offers the following Emergency Services training opportunities:

Fire & Rescue: Programs include certification and training for Firefighter 1&2, Emergency Vehicle Driving, Driver/Operator, Aerial Operations, Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials Response. Many specialty areas of training for fire and rescue personnel are also available including National Fire Academy courses.

Students may attend any or all of the listed classes.

Hazardous Materials: Awareness and Operations
February 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 27, 28, 2010
Monday and Wednesday nights will meet 7-10 PM.
Saturday and Sunday, February 27 & 28 will meet 8 AM-6 PM.

Emergency Vehicle Driving: April 27, 2010-May 8, 2010. Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7-10pm. May 8, 2010: 8am-5pm

Emergency Medical Services: Programs include certification for Medical Responder, EMT-Basic, and EMT-Intermediate.

Continuing Education courses are also available for personnel currently certified in Emergency Medical Services.

EMT-Basic:
January 11 thru April 21, 2010 on Mondays and Wednesdays: 6 PM-10 PM
One Saturday per month: 8 AM-2:30 PM

EMT-Intermediate:
January 12 thru May 8, 2010 on Tuesdays: 6 PM-10 PM
One Saturday per month: 8 AM-12 PM
