Take College-Level Courses Tuition Free While You Are Still In High School

The Huskins Bill Program & Dual-Enrollment Program provides the opportunity for Pamlico Community College (PCC) and Pamlico County
High School (PCHS) to offer a seamless educational flow from high school to college. Now students can take college-level courses, tuition-free while enrolled in high school.

Are You Elegible For The Huskins Program?

Student eligibility is determined as follows:

• Be a High school student in grades 9-12.

• Students must be recommended by the principal or guidance counselor of the high school for enrollment.

• The principal or guidance counselor at the high school must certify that the student is taking the equivalent of one-half of a full-time schedule
and is making progress toward graduation. Or, in the case of courses offered in the summer, they must certify that the student took the
equivalent of one-half of a full-time schedule during the proceeding year and is making progress toward graduation.

• Students must meet the same course prerequisites and admission requirements as adult college students. College and high school credits will be awarded upon successful completion of the college class.
