Pamlico Community College exists in a county and region rich in cultural talent and skill. The Heritage Arts Programs are designed to assist folks who either have a desire to learn a new craft skill or hone the one they already have. What sets these programs separate from those short enrichment programs is they are designed to steadily increase your craft skill level while teaching you how you can cultivate your talents into a lucrative business. These programs will provide you knowledge on how and where to market your goods; how to produce in quantity and support your overhead costs; and most importantly, how to make a profit.

Programs

  • Sewing
  • Luthier (Making and repairing stringed instruments)
  • Pottery
  • Woodworking
