About Health Occupations

The need for health occupations continues to rise as baby boomers reach retirement age and life expectancy increases. This need will include not only additional workers, but filling current positions at a higher volume due to the increased percentage of the population retiring.

Pamlico Community College provides affordable quality training to help meet these growing needs in such areas as:

  • Nurse Aide I
  • Nurse Aid II
  • Nurse Aid I Refresher
  • Home Health Aide

In addition, PCC is always working to identify new and innovated training for health care employees.
