The N.C. Career Readiness Certificate is a portable, nationally recognized credential that can help you get the job you want. Based on ACT’s proven WorkKeys® system the CRC gives jobseekers proof of their workplace skills. WorkKeys® is a system of real world workplace assessments that can act both as a tool to increase your employability skills and give employers the tools necessary to plan, screen, select, train and promote the appropriate candidates.

The Assessments
Through WorkKeys® an individual can be assessed on a wide array of workplace skills.The North Carolina Career Readiness Certificate includes assessment on Reading for Information, Locating Information, and Applied Mathematics.

Preparation
You have the opportunity to prepare for the CRC through a free, self-paced study tool – the WIN Career Readiness Courseware system. Scheduling

You can make a reservation to take the WorkKeys® assessment which can lead to the awarding of the Career Readiness Certificate at either the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level. Click here to request assistance in scheduling.

All-Safe Industries of Grantsboro, NC has joined Pamlico Community College in being the first two business in this area to be CRC preferred for all job applicants.
